We are BRZ

We were two Latinx immigrants with the same dream: to simplify the insurance-buying process and to make it accessible to everyone. We created BRZ to offer the Latinx community a service that is truly immigrant-to-immigrant, speaks their language, and has absolutely no fine print.

It’s So Nice to Meet You!

With origins in Brazil and Peru, we were embraced and raised by the Latinx community in the USA. We understood firsthand the risks and disasters that result from language barriers, inaccessibility, and a lack of information.

Tiago Prado

Born in Brazil, Tiago came to the USA with his mother when he was a child. After losing his cousin in a tragic car accident, he saw how one tragedy can lead to another when it was discovered that the family member did not have adequate insurance coverage. As a result, his daughter was left behind without any means of support.

Rodolpho Sanz

Born in the USA, Rodolpho is the son of a Peruvian and a Brazilian. At the age of 6, he went through his own traumatizing experience– his house in New Jersey caught fire, destroying the second floor. He knows firsthand what it is like to lose almost everything in a fire and not receive full support from an insurance company because of inadequate coverage.

Eucimar Raposo

In 2018, Tiago and Rodolpho met Eucimar, who had a background in technology, and realized he was the missing piece. Originating from Brazil, Eucimar also had his share of challenges due to insufficient insurance. He joined the team, not only to bring technical and innovative aspects into the business but to help carry out BRZ’s mission of serving the Latinx community.

Having all experienced some form of tragedy or loss in their lives due to poor or inadequate insurance coverage, the three put their heads together and asked an important question: What is my education and knowledge worth if I don’t use it to help my people? That was the moment BRZ Insurance was born.  We are here to uncomplicate insurance and to help educate others on how to keep themselves and their loved ones safe and sound!

    FAQ

You have questions, we have answers. If it’s not here, give us a call!

No, you do not. However, it will take a little more work. Many insurers will let you include what is called the principal or primary driver. The insurers will use that information along with other factors to determine the rate of your policy. Depending on the insurer, you may also need to name yourself as an "Excluded Driver" meaning that you will not be driving the car. You can open an auto insurance policy without a Driver's License but you are required by law to drive with a valid Driver's License.

In order to register and drive your vehicle in Massachusetts, you are required to at least purchase the state minimum auto coverage and limits. The state considers driving without insurance a civil motor vehicle infraction (CMVI). You could face a $5000 fine, up to one year in jail and the loss of your driving privileges for an entire year.

With limited exceptions, every employer in the Commonwealth with one or more employee(s) is required by law to have a valid workers' compensation policy at all times. This "no fault" insurance not only provides injured workers with medical care and partial wage replacement, but also protects the policyholders from potentially damaging lawsuits.

To define how much it is going to cost of home insurance some factors will be analyzed as: Location - Your zip code assesses the risk of your home being stolen or damaged by a natural hazard, such as a hurricane, snow, or fire. Features - The age, size, number of rooms and type of building, the condition of your electricity and plumbing, and the age of your roof. Coverage amounts on your policy - The replacement cost of your home and the value of your personal belongings will influence rates Policy Deductible - The deductible is the amount you pay in the event of a covered claim. If you choose a high deductible, you will pay lower fees and vice versa. Your credit history and claims - if you have a long credit history of using your insurance, brokers typically offset this risk by charging higher fees.
