Diablo Glass Studio in Boston holds a glassmaking event every last Friday of the month from 6:30-9:30pm complete with a glassblowing demo and wine. As a special Valentine’s treat, they are offering small-group classes where you will learn how to make different kinds of glass hearts (class dates and prices here).

If you think you can only enjoy the Boston Harbor in the summer, think again. Odyssey Cruises have lined up two Valentine’s Dinner Cruises, one on February 14th and one on the 15th, as well as a Lunch Cruise on the 15th, that come with private tables, fine dining, Boston skyline views, and, of course, music (tickets available on their website).
As part of the ongoing Boston Wine Festival, the Boston Harbor Hotel is putting on a luxurious Valentine’s Dinner Dance on February 15th with live music, dancing, and an extravagant all-Champagne dinner showcasing different Moët offerings (tickets available here).
If all you wish for is a little relaxation and break from the humdrum of everyday life, a date at your local spa for a couples massage and any additional treatments that might fit your current mood is always a surefire way to emerge relaxed and in the mood for love.
If you find yourself newly single, there is even a comedy performance to soothe your sorrows: Break Up! The Musical at the Westin Waterfront Hotel on February 14th (Tickets starting at $10 available here).

Even if Valentine’s Day passes you by because life has gotten really busy, you can still celebrate in the spring by signing up for a Tipsy Chocolate Tour in Boston’s Back Bay (tickets available here starting mid-March).

During the two-hour walking tour you will get the chance to visit historic spots, sample fine confectionaries, enjoy chocolate treats and try a cocoa-based cocktail.
