Where to spend New Year’s Eve in Boston

After a year filled with fear and uncertainty, we are finally seeing a glimpse of  normality just around the corner. With the advance and expansion of vaccination against Covid-19 and a drop in death rates and serious cases, events are slowly returning.

But if it’s your first New Year in these parts, it’s very important to adjust your expectations and understand what might be available to you to celebrate. Each country has a tradition and a different way of celebrating the end of a year.

First Night Boston 2022

Returning after a hiatus due to the pandemic, First Night Boston is a free party for families and everyone in the city of Boston. The event, which starts early at noon, features concerts, other musical performances, ice sculptures, a figure skating show and the traditional fireworks: one at 7 pm at Boston Common for families with children and another, of course , at midnight in Boston Harbor.
